REPLAY changes the way you produce, handle, archive, and distribute audiovisual objects.

REPLAY is an open source solution developed in java to manage the workflow of audiovisual lecture recordings from production in the classroom to distribution on various channels in an automated manner. In this, it also provides comprehensive functionalities for existing audiovisual archives, repositories or collections.

REPLAY is a solution not only for academia, but also for institutions and companies producing, hosting, managing and allocating audiovisual content.

Key features:

REPLAY was developed against the background of a sharp increase in the number of audiovisual objects being produced and the need to manage large and growing repositories. In contrast to commercial and proprietary solutions, it deals with resulting problems and challenges in a comprehensive, open and standard-oriented way, modular in architecture to serve different scenarios and expandable by defined (web) interfaces.

REPLAY is complemented by PLAYMOBIL, a Linux-based capture device for the classroom and INTERPLAY, a user interface to make the consumption of video into an interactive and collective usage.
